JEE Main 2025 Schedule

The JEE (Main) 2024 sessions will be held in January and April. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the 2024-25 academic year calendar on September 14, 2023. Once confirmed, official exam dates and details will be available on the NTA website (nta.ac.in) and the JEE Main portal (https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/).

The Information Bulletin, containing detailed examination information, will be published with the registration forms. The exam will be offered in thirteen languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The JEE (Main) 2024 will be conducted in two distinct sessions for the upcoming academic session, providing a convenient structure for candidates. This format offers several advantages for candidates:

  • Opportunity for Score Improvement: Candidates will have the advantage of two separate attempts to enhance their examination scores. If they do not achieve their desired performance in the first session, they can improve their results in the second session.
  • Flexibility for Unforeseen Circumstances: The JEE (Main) 2024 offers a flexible approach. Suppose a candidate cannot participate in one session due to unavoidable circumstances, such as a conflicting Board examination. In that case, they will not be required to wait an entire year for another opportunity to take the test.
  • Mandatory Participation in Both Sessions: Candidates must only appear for one session. However, suppose a candidate chooses to take the examination in multiple sessions. In that case, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will consider only their highest score from sessions to prepare the Merit List/Ranking.

Candidates should refer to the Information Bulletin for JEE (Main) 2025 on the official website for detailed information regarding the examination papers, scheme, timing, registration dates, eligibility criteria, and other relevant details. They must ensure that the email address and mobile number are provided Online. Application forms are either their own or those of their parents/guardians.All official communication from the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be sent exclusively via email to the registered email address or SMS to the registered mobile number.
