ISB Offers Fee Waivers For Veterans And Serving Members Of The Armed Forces

At COP 28 in the United Arab Emirates, the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) received the renowned Green University Award. This distinction was bestowed by Green Mentors, a non-governmental organisation in the United States with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
This honour was bestowed at the world-renowned CoP 28 platform. The goal of IIT Mandi is to raise environmental awareness among young students and campus residents, as well as to conserve nature and natural resources in the surrounding area. According to the institute, IIT Mandi is actively engaged in undertaking environmental audits, implementing Green Audits, and promoting vegetarian food options on campus to maintain ecological balance.
The institute has over 100 veterans among its alumni. The veterans, the ISB statement added, bring significant value to the classroom and strengthen the alumni network. The Armed Forces Scholarship seeks to further ISB’s vision of grooming future leaders for India and the world.
