Crack GATE 2025 Physics Syllabus Unveiled

Registrations for the GATE 2025 Exam will begin on August 24 and end on September 26, 2024. The exam is scheduled for February 1,2,15, and 16, 2025. It will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, with city centers divided into eight zones. The results will be announced on March 19, 2025. The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, is organising the GATE 2025 exam. 

Exam Pattern:

The examination will last 3 hours. It will include a general aptitude section and a Candidate's selected subjects section. The type of questions that candidates need to attempt will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple-Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. The exam test papers will be held in English and are worth 100 marks. General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks), and the rest of the paper covers the respective test syllabus (85 marks).

 Criteria for eligibility: 

• Those who have completed or are studying at least in the third year of an undergraduate (UG) programme in engineering, technology, architecture, arts, science, commerce or humanities subjects.
• Third-year students of a four-year BS programme
• Fifth-semester students of a bachelor's degree course in medicine, dental surgery or veterinary science 
• Students in the third year of a bachelor course in engineering, technology, architecture, arts, science, commerce or humanities subjects
• Third-year Pharm D students
• Students in the first year or higher classes of an MA, MSc, MCA, post-BSc or Integrated MTech course
• Those holding professional memberships declared equivalent to bachelor's degree courses by the central government can also apply.
