Free College Education For Female Students In Haryana Whose Families Earn Less Than Rs 1.8 Lakh

Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Manohar Lal Khattar stated on Sunday that girls from below-poverty-line (BPL) homes with an annual income of 1.80 lakh will be given free education in both government and private universities.

The state government would cover half of the college costs for girls from families earning between 1.80 lakh and 3 lakh rupees. Wherever possible, the Haryana government would cover the expenses of private colleges. On Sunday, the CM addressed a 'jan ashirwad rally' at Samalkha, Panipat district, and announced the creation of a municipal council and a development plan for the citizens of Samalkha.
