Dr K. Sivan, A Former Leader Of ISRO, Has Been Appointed To Lead The Board Of Governors At IIT Indore

According to IIT Indore, eminent space scientist and former ISRO head Dr K Sivan has been named to lead the board of governors for three years.
IIT Indore tweeted on "X" that it was "honoured to have Dr. K. Sivan, former chairperson of ISRO and former secretary of the Department of Space, as the chairperson of the board of governors."
According to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, Dr. Sivan will take the place of Professor Deepak B. Phatak, whose contract expired on August 21. We are grateful to Prof. Deepak Phatak, the outgoing chairperson, for mentoring the Institute and bringing us to further heights. With his vast knowledge and unconventional solutions, Prof. Phatak has led from the front and guided us; the institute tweeted on "X"
