By October 20, Medical Colleges Are Asked To Submit The First-Year MBBS Students' Data To NMC
Education News
By October 20, all medical colleges are required by the National Medical Commission (NMC) to submit the information of every student admitted to the first-year MBBS programme for the academic year 2023–2024. The commission has specified which college and student information each college must send. NMC reminded colleges that the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2023, which are based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) selection process, must be followed for MBBS admissions in 2023.
Additionally, colleges must input information regarding MBBS students, such as seat entrance, college type, minority status, counselling name, seat matrix, and, in the case of private colleges, consensual agreement. Additionally, NMC requested that institutions post admissions information in the specified format on their websites. The responsibility for providing accurate, truthful, and genuine information rests with the college concerned. If the Commission learns that the college officials have given false or inaccurate information, it will take legal measures as permitted by law, the NMC said.
