The Bengal Governor has taken the initiative to launch a helpline number specifically intended to assist students who are having difficulties at universities after the victims of election violence and people dealing with corruption-related issues.

Students from some State Universities in Bengal, where Vice-Chancellor positions are still open, are reportedly running into difficulties in their attempts to secure important documents like degree certificates, according to a formal statement issued by Raj Bhawan.

According to the announcement, "To provide them with relief, the Governor of West Bengal, in his role as the Chancellor, has taken the decision to discharge the responsibilities of the Vice-Chancellors in these Universities until new interim Vice-Chancellors are appointed."

An email address has been provided for students to share their complaints at amnesaamne.rajbhavankolkata@gmail.com in order to allow a quick process for them to express their issues and seek resolution. Additionally, they can utilise the dedicated peace room, which can be contacted at 03322001642.

Additionally, there are chances for students to speak with the Governor in person at the Rajbhavan, on visits, or at circuit houses. This can be accomplished by signing up online for the "amnesame" initiative.
According to sources, the governor would also make frequent trips to institutions with the intention of connecting with the students there.
