Lakulish Yoga University, inaugurated in 2015, stands as a distinguished institution committed to the comprehensive study and practice of Yoga across its multifaceted dimensions. Named in honour of the esteemed Yogi Lakulish, the university aspires to offer a well-rounded approach to yoga education, integrating spiritual and physical well-being.
Established under the aegis of the Lakulish International University Trust, the university was conceived as a premier centre for excellence in yoga education and research. By embedding Lakulish's teachings into its curriculum and practices, the university pays homage to his enduring legacy. The founders envisioned an institution that would not only provide rigorous academic training in Yoga but also nurture spiritual development and practical applications of yogic principles in various domains of health and life.
The campus, designed in the shape of a lotus and sprawling across 111 acres, features 24 classrooms strategically located within the lotus petals. This unique architectural design underscores the university's commitment to harmony with nature. Lakulish Yoga University offers an array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs aimed at delivering an in-depth understanding of Yoga, its philosophy, and its practical applications.
