IIT Placements: Bhilai Notes A Modest Increase In Remuneration And An Upward Trend In The Students Placed

According to information provided by the institute, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhilai has held three campus placement sessions thus far, and the placement numbers have improved with each one.
Over the last three placement seasons, the overall number of placed students has nearly doubled. Additionally, the overall number of students placed in BTech programmes rose from 58 in 2019–20 to 66 in 2020–21, and then soared to 107 in the placement season of 2021–2022. Additionally, from 99 students in 2019–20 to 112 in 2020–21 and finally to 119 in 2021–22, there were more registered students.
The average CTC did not show a comparable growth, despite a notable increase in the number of placed students. The average wage during the 2019–20 placement season was Rs 11.3 lakh annually, and it climbed little to Rs 11.82 lakh annually in 2020–21. The average pay rose to Rs 13.62 lakh per year in 2021–2022, which was a little more than in prior years.
