IIT-Madras Researchers Develop ‘Intelligence Platform On Government Funding Schemes For Start-Ups’
Campus News
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) researchers at Centre for Research on Start-ups and Risk Financing (CREST) have developed an ‘Intelligence Platform on Government Funding Schemes for Start-ups’ to boost the start-up sector.
This platform was created and put into use in collaboration with YNOS, a start-up that was incubated at IIT Madras. If entrepreneurs are interested in learning more about a certain scheme, this platform will offer the scheme's contact information and social media links. With a single click, the business owner may also get a comprehensive report on each and every plan.
The researchers hope that by providing entrepreneurs with a thorough understanding of the government funding ecosystem for start-ups, this platform will assist them. The package combines data from several state governments, central public sector organisations, and central government plans. There are almost a hundred distinct programmes run by various organisations.
