IIT-Delhi Students Receive 480 Job Offers, With 450 Unique Choices

The placement season at Indian Institutes of Technology has begun for the academic year 2022-23. The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) registered over 480 full-time employment offers (including pre-placement offers) on the first day of placements, with around 450 unique selections bagged by IIT Delhi students by the end of the first day of placements (December 1).
Some students have received multiple job offers among the 480 full-time job offers. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Texas Instruments were the top recruiters on campus on Day 1 in terms of the number of students offered.
Around 25 students have obtained international job offers from Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
At the end of the first day of placements in 2022, 650 full-time job offers were made, with around 550 of them being unique job picks, including over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs). Twenty students received overseas employment offers from Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States last year. Some students preferred domestic over international offers.
