19 of the 21 students took part in the placement process in full. 18 of them received a total of 21 offers from different companies. The placement drive included participation from 27 notable organisations, which provided 30 distinct opportunities. Two first-year students have chosen to continue academic research, one of whom has enrolled in a PhD course.

According to the school, placements are made in a variety of fields, with 58 percent going into the public and social sectors, 11 per cent into fields related to energy and climate change, and 16 per cent into the booming digital economy. The remaining cohort will pursue science and technology policy. Students engaged with groups like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, International Rice Research Institute, ID Insight, and WRI, among others, during their MPP degree, the institute claims. After their first year, students finished their internships over the summer by working with companies including EY, NITI Aayog, Sattva Consulting, Social Alpha, and the Data Security Council of India.
