An Environmental Engineering Professor At IIT Roorkee Receives The IEI Young Engineers Award 2023–2024

An environmental engineering professor from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has been awarded the "IEI Young Engineers Award 2023-24." Ankit Agarwal is a professor in the hydrology department at IIT Roorkee.
The IIT professor received the IEI award, which consists of a plaque and certificate, in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the field of environmental engineering. According to a release from IIT Roorkee, this award recognises his creative research, extraordinary commitment, and leadership in tackling pressing environmental issues.
Congratulating the IEI awardee, Professor KK Pant, Director IIT Roorkee said, “The institute takes immense pride in Prof. Ankit Agarwal’s achievements and his dedication to advancing the field of Environmental Engineering. His research and contributions have not only enhanced the academic community’s understanding but also made a substantial impact on environmental conservation and sustainable practices.”
