KU Announces Admission For BA LLB, B. Tech, Music & Fine Arts Courses, Check Details.

The Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations, University of Kashmir, will benign the admission process for 4-Year B.Tech. Programs, 5-Year BA-LL.B. Program and bachelor's Degree in Music & Fine Arts BVA (Visual Arts) & BPA (Music) courses. 

The Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations, University of Kashmir, is all set to begin the admission process for various bachelor courses from today, June 14, 2023. Students seeking admission into 4-Year B.Tech. Program ( Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering), 5-Year BA-LL.B. Program and bachelor's Degree in Music & Fine Arts BVA (Visual Arts) & BPA (Music) courses shall submit their applications before June 30, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for bachelors Degree in Music & Fine Arts (BVA & BPA)

1. Candidates should have completed the 10+2 Examination of the J&K Board of School Education or an equivalent examination with at least 45% in the Open Merit category and 40% in the Reserved Category.
2. Aptitude tests will be used for admission, details of which are available from the Principal, Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Naseem Bagh, University Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar.

Eligibility Criteria for 4-Year B.Tech. Programs

1. The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary Part II (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) subjects with at least 50% marks for the Open Category and 45% for the Reserved Category.
2. Selection to the programme depends on the percentile score obtained in JEE (Main) 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for 5-Year BA-LL.B. Program

1. Applicants must have completed 10+2 from any board/institute with 45% marks if applying as an open merit candidate or 40% as a reserved applicant.
2. Selection will be determined by the score obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam taken by the university.
