Delhi University Opens Registration Portal For PhD Admission

Registration for various PhD programmes at the University of Delhi began on July 12, 2023, and will close on August 2, 2023.

Delhi University is inviting registration applications for the PhD courses of the academic session 2023-2024. The official website states, 'The University of Delhi has commenced the registration process for various PhD programmes for the academic session 2023-24 from July 12, 2023. This registration process will close on Wednesday, August 2, 2023." Candidates wishing to register shall submit their applications at the admission.uod.ac.in.

The official website states that 'If candidates fail to confirm online filled application by E-Scrutiny center or Physical Scrutiny Center, then such applications will be rejected, and the names of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of Admission for both CAP as well as NonCAP process. If candidates fail to confirm the online filled application form at the E-Scrutiny Center or Physical Scrutiny Center, then such applications will be rejected, and the names of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of Admission for both CAP as well as Non-CAP process.'

Students need to note that candidates eligible for Phase I must have qualified for the UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ fellowship (as identified by DRC)/AYUSH-NET/DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE or equivalent national level examination/  GATE/ teacher fellowships, (as per Ordinance VI, Notification: Amendments to Ordinances dated August 9, 2017, and its Amendments approved by the Executive Council in its meeting held on 01-02.07.2019) etc. As part of Phase II, all eligible candidates can apply, but those who qualify based on their performance in the entrance test will be shortlisted for interviews once the results are released. Candidates are advised to refer to Bulletin of Information and Addendum-Ph.D. Admission to the Faculty of Management Studies before submitting their application.
