The University is recognised under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956 and empowered to award degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act. The University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, Member of Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK., United Nations Global Compact and ECOSOC.
