UGC NET Results 2024 Show 112,070 Candidates Ready for PhDs

NTA UGC NET June Result 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC National Eligibility Test results, generating significant interest among aspiring candidates. This year, 1,12,070 individuals have successfully qualified for PhD admissions, demonstrating the competitive nature of the exam. In addition, 53,694 candidates have met the requirements to become Assistant Professors, while 4,970 have achieved eligibility for the esteemed Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

This year’s UGC-NET attracted many applicants, with 11,21,225 candidates registering for the exam. Out of this total, 6,84,224 candidates participated in the examination, which underwent a retest conducted over an extensive period from 21st August to 5th September 2024. The retest was organised across 280 cities nationwide, emphasising the NTA’s commitment to accessibility for candidates.

The exam covered 83 topics and was conducted in 21 separate shifts using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Alongside the results, the NTA has provided a detailed subject and category-wise cut-off list for the UGC NET Result 2024, offering candidates crucial insights into the benchmarks required for qualification.
