On the official website, admissions.nls.ac.in, the National Law School of India University Bengaluru (NLSIU Bengaluru) will close registration for the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT 2024) for the three-year LLB, two-year MA Public Policy, and PhD programs. NLSAT-LLB, NLSAT-MPP, and NLSAT-PhD will be administered by NLSIU Bengaluru on March 17 between 10 AM and 12.30 PM.
NLSAT 2024 Criteria for Admission:
- The candidate must score more than zero in both parts.
- 75 percentiles should be exceeded in the general and EWS categories, while 40 percentiles should be exceeded in the SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and Persons with Disabilities categories.
Selection process for NLSAT 2024
- There are two parts to the examination, A and B, and the duration of the examination is 150 minutes. In Part A, you'll get 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each correct answer worth one mark and incorrect answers worth 0.25 points.
- Candidates must achieve a higher score than zero in Part A for consideration in Part B. There are 75 marks in Part B, which consists of subjective questions.
- The cumulative performance in Parts A and B determines the final ranking. Based on the performance in Part A, Part B of the NLSAT answer scripts will be evaluated in a 1:15 ratio.
