Chandigarh’s Vaibhav Garg Takes the Lead: NEET PG 2024 All India Rank 1

Dr. Vaibhav Garg, an alumnus of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh,  has achieved the All India Rank 1 in the NEET PG 2024 examination. His journey to this remarkable accomplishment has been marked by hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of his family and educators.

The 23-year-old, who achieved a perfect 100 percentile in the NEET PG 2024 exam, hails from Dhakoli in Zirakpur. He spent his entire academic life in Chandigarh, completing Class 10 at St. John's High School and 12 at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School. In 2018, he secured an impressive All India Rank of 69 in the NEET UG exam.

 

Reflecting on his success, Dr Garg attributes his achievement to his professors' constant encouragement, his family's invaluable guidance, and the diverse resources both online and offline platforms offer. Dr Garg also spoke about the challenges faced by aspirants this year, particularly concerning the postponement of the NEET PG exam from June to August following a paper leak controversy. Despite these hurdles, he remained unwavering in his focus and commitment to his goal, inspiring all.

 

Looking ahead, Dr Garg expresses a strong desire to work in the field of medicine in Delhi, where he hopes to continue his journey in healthcare and make significant contributions to the field.
