To apply to 7,700 programs of more than 2,400 business schools globally, the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Focus edition has begun.
Three sections – quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and data insights – will require students to answer 64 questions. There will be 21 questions in the quantitative reasoning section, 23 and 20 questions in the verbal reasoning section, and 20 in the data insight section. Candidates will have 45 minutes to complete each section.
There is a computer-adaptive nature to the GMAT's quantitative reasoning and verbal reasoning sections, which means that the difficulty level changes based on the ability of the candidates to answer the questions. The test is a high-precision tool for assessing the potential of candidates.
In addition to changing three answers per section, candidates will have the opportunity to bookmark questions for further review. Following the exam, candidates will be able to see their unofficial scores for each section. Students will receive their GMAT scores within five to twenty days. GMAT scores are usually released within five to seven days. However, it may take up to 20 days to process the results. GMAT scores are valid for five years when applying to B-Schools.
