GCET Cancelled: Goa Engineering, Pharmacy Admission Via JEE Main, NEET 2024.

Students shall note that from this academic year onwards, admission to engineering and pharmacy courses will be based on the scores of the JEE Main 2024, and NEET 2024 instead of GCET.

For admission to engineering and pharmacy courses, the Goa Technical Education Directorate has cancelled the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET). Through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2024) or National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024), the DTE will grant admissions to BTechs and BPharms, professional courses from the academic year 2024-25. "Admissions to Engineering B.E. Degree courses in the State of Goa in the year 2024-25 shall be carried out based on Score/Rank at Joint Entrance Exam (JEE-Main)-2024 to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in January 2024 and April 2024," the official notification read.
Pharmacy and BPharm courses in Goa will be selected based on the best aggregate scores in physics and chemistry obtained during JEE Main 2024 or NEET 2024. For applicants interested in enrolling in BPharm courses, there will be a choice between JEE Main 2024 and NEET 2024.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.

KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment

The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can access the results by logging into the official website i.e, https://cee.kerala.gov.in/ with their application number and password.

DU NCWEB 3rd Round Admission Cutoff Released

The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list. 

TS ICET 2024 Counselling Begins!

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) commenced round 1 of the registration procedure for TS ICET counselling 2024 on 1st September 2024. The registration will be done at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can register till 8th September 2024.
