Introduction of two Board Exams

With two board exams every year, students have more chances to improve their scores. Ultimately, this move aims to help students keep their best scores, enhancing their academic performance. It's part of a broader effort to enrich the educational experience.

Revoking Division and Distinction Awards

The CBSE decided not to award divisions or distinctions to students in a departure from previous practices. Moreover, no merit lists will be compiled for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The admissions college will now be responsible for selecting the best five subjects for calculating the students' marks.
