A notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 has been released by the Indian Air Force (IAF). Interested and qualified candidates may apply online at afcat.cdac.in. Candidates can submit the AFCAT 2024 application forms by registering at the official portal and uploading the necessary information and documents.
Age Limit:
As of January 1, 2024, the age limit for flying branch candidates will be 20 to 24 years old, which means those born between January 2001 and January 2005 will be eligible for a lower age limit of 26 for candidates holding a commercial pilot license issued by DGCA (India).
Ground duty branches (technical and non-technical) must be between 20 and 26 years old as of January 1; in other words, candidates must have been born between January 2, 1999 and January 1, 2005.
Flying branch and ground duty (Non-technical) -
Students should have received a minimum of 50% in physics and mathematics during their 12th-grade examinations and hold a three-year bachelor's degree from a recognised university or a BE or BTech degree.
Ground Duty (Technical):
Applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks in physics and mathematics in their Class 12 examinations. They must also hold a degree in engineering or technology from a recognised university.
