The Ministry of Tribal Affairs Is Accepting Applications For The National Overseas Scholarship Scheme For ST Students

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, is soliciting applications from ST applicants for the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS) for the selection year 2023-24. Interested people should apply for this scholarship at overseas.tribal.gov.in. Candidates can apply for this scholarship until July 31.
National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS): How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — overseas.tribal.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click 'new registration' or 'login'.
Step 3: Review the qualifying conditions before proceeding with the registration procedure.
Step 4: Fill out the registration form with all of the necessary information.
Step 5: Submit the application form and save it for future use.
Under this plan, the government will provide 20 scholarships. The fellowship is given to students who have been chosen to pursue higher education overseas at the Masters, PhD, and Post-Doctoral Research levels.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be accepted for regular and full-time Master's/PhD/Post-Doctoral Courses at an approved university/institute in another country after being selected. The candidate's age, as of July 1, 2023, should not be more than 32 years old. PhD applicants should be no older than 35 years old as of July 1, 2023, and Post Doctoral Research applicants should be no older than 38 years old as of July 1, 2023.
Minimum credentials are 55% marks or equivalent grade in relevant Master's degree and PhD for Post-Doctoral candidates, 55% marks or equal grade in relevant Master's degree for PhD candidates, and 55% marks or equivalent grade in relevant Master's degree for Post-Doctoral candidates.
Additionally, the total family income from all sources of the applicant or his/her parents/guardians or spouse should not exceed Rs 6 lakh per annum for candidates.
