SWAYAM Portal: NCERT provides Free Online Courses for Classes 11 & 12.

The NCERT provides the free online courses facility available for students of classes 11 & 12 on the SWAYAM portal.

 

In the recent notice issued by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) dated April 22, 2024, they are notifying about the free online courses facility available for students of classes 11 & 12 on the SWAYAM portal. The official update on X says, “ Enrich your knowledge by learning through FREE online courses offered by NCERT on the SWAYAM portal. The courses are designed for students in Grades XI and XII across 11 subjects. For more information, visit https://ciet.ncert.gov.in/initiative/moocs-on-swayam.”

How to apply for the free online courses?

  • Go to the official website at swayam.gov.in.
  • Register yourself by entering your username, email address and password. 
  • Tap on “Send verification code” and use it to log in.
  • Once registered, you can access the course by clicking on the course link and enroll yourself in the course for FREE.
  • Start learning, and upon course completion, take the final assessment and earn your certificate.
     

Key dates for the SWAYAM free online courses:

  • Course Enrollment Start Date: April 15, 2024
  • Course Enrollment End Date: September 01, 2024
  • Course Start Date: April 22, 2024
  • Course End Date: September 30, 2024.
