SBI Fellowship programme

SBI Foundation, the State Bank Group's CSR arm, is accepting applications for the 12th batch of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship programme. Interested candidates can apply for the programme at the official website, youthforindia.org/register.

According to the official timetable, this programme will commence on May 13. Candidates should complete the online application form, which contains biographical information, educational qualifications, work experience, and questions about their own life experiences. Following a successful application, shortlisted individuals will be asked to a personal interview to determine their fit for the programme. The final decision will be made based on the candidate's performance in the online examination, personal interview, and overall suitability for the programme.

Selected candidates will receive an offer letter and must confirm their acceptance of the offer within a certain time frame. After accepting the offer, they will be required to attend an orientation course and begin the fellowship.

Applicants for the fellowship scheme must be Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Bhutanese citizens, or Nepalese citizens who are devoted to furthering sustainable development goals in rural areas.

This 13-month SBI initiative provides a structured platform for educated urban youngsters - graduates and young professionals - aged 21 to 32 to interact with rural communities and 13 reputable NGOs across India to promote meaningful social change.
Numerous young Indian applicants from major metropolitan cities in India, as well as Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, have enthusiastically participated in the SBI Youth for India project. The programme has had a major impact, with a growing alumni network of over 580+ individuals affecting more than 1,50,000 lives through the Fellows' actions in more than 250+ villages across 20 states across India, according to an official announcement from the organisation.
