All India Russian Edu Fair 2024 Offer 8000 MBBS Seats for Indian students

The All India Russian Fair, an exclusive event for the Academic year 2024-25, will be held at the prestigious Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai on May 11th and 12th. The top eight higher education institutions owned by the Russian government will directly participate. This year, the MBBS seats have been increased from 5000 to 8000, a testament to the growing demand for medical education in Russia. It's worth noting that Russia is now the only foreign country that aligns with the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India's current regulations regarding medical education abroad.

The fair will also be held in numerous venues throughout Tamil Nadu. The event will occur in Madurai on May 14 at The Madurai Residency Hotel, Trichy on May 15 at Femina Hotel, Salem on May 16 at GRT Hotel Zibe, and Coimbatore on May 17 at The Grand Regent. Admission to MBBS courses in Russia is a straightforward process for Indian students. Those who scored a minimum of 50% in the (NEET) Nation Eligibility and Entrance Test ( the minimum mark for SC/ST and OBC students is 40%) are eligible. Even Tamil-medium students can apply. The best part is that there are no pre-qualifying exams for admissions in Russia, such as IELTS, CET, etc., making the process even more accessible.

Mr. Alexander Dodonov said, "As in the past, the Russian Government's annual 100% scholarship programs will award grants to 200 Indian students this year as well. This will enable them to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, Specialist, and Postgraduate Programs in Russia's leading universities free of cost. Higher education costs are relatively cheaper because the government of the Russian Federation highly subsidises them. Our universities also assist as many have special adaptation programs and support systems for Indian students."
