Ramdhan Lodha, an 18-year-old student at Mewar University in Rajasthan, has revolutionised farming. Ramdhan is a farmer's son who has witnessed firsthand traditional agriculture's struggles and created a Solar-Powered Weed Killer. His invention allows farmers to kill and prevent weeds in their fields.

In the Indian Silicon Valley Challenge, Ramdhan's cutting-edge invention stole judges' eyes. He received a special prize of 1 lakh rupees to develop his invention further.

Unlike traditional methods that require farmers to carry heavy bags of sprayers on their shoulders, often leading to health risks from inhaling pesticides, Ramdhan's Solar-Powered Weed Killer offers a safer and more efficient solution. This innovative tool allows farmers to remove weeds from their fields without the risk of pesticide inhalation, significantly improving their safety and productivity.

"Growing up in a farming community, I've seen farmers' struggles, especially the health risks involved. I aimed to create a solution that tackles these challenges while providing an eco-friendly option to traditional methods," Ramdhan says.

"Scaler School of Technology's Indian Silicon Valley Challenge provided me with an incredible platform to showcase my invention, and I am grateful for this opportunity. My ultimate dream is to see farmers all over India using my machine someday," adds the young innovator.

Education Exclusive is very impressed with this invention and wishes Ramdhan Lodha the best for future inventions and achievements.
