Raj Bhavan Initiative: Governor Seeks Student Input on Education Enhancement!

On Tuesday i.e. 27th of August 2024, Honourable Governor Mr Santosh Kumar Gangwar of Jharkhand, while interacting with female students from residential schools in Gumla district, said that students with innovative ideas for the education system can directly share them with Raj Bhawan. The Raj Bhawan of Jharkhand will now take students' suggestions seriously.
Organised at the district science centre, the event was attended by female students who had visited Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, this year and the previous year.
In addition, Governor Mr. Gangwar visited the Savitribai Phule Women's Library at Savitribai Phule Pune University (Maharashtra), where he distributed bicycles to female pupils. Next, the governor visited a ragi (millet) processing unit and engaged in conversation with the tribal women who were employed there. He expressed his appreciation for the district administration's initiative.
Governor Mr. Gangwar also inaugurated an awareness campaign for the PM JANMAN initiative and established a helpline number for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) to submit their concerns and issues to the administration.
