Mridul Manya Anand received 720/720 marks in the newly announced National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. He shared the all-India rank with 66 people, scoring 99.997129 percentile. His all-India counselling rank is 1.03.

For the first time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) reimbursed numerous candidates across different exam centres for the loss of exam time. However, the topper believes that the distribution of marks is unfair.  "Many students leave difficult questions at the last minute. If the student has obtained marks for extra time, it is like getting marks for difficult questions," he said.

It was Mridul Anand's first time taking NEET UG this year. He got 98% in Class 10 and 91% in Class 12. He's from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
