IGNOU to Collaborate with ICMAI to Launch Diploma in Agricultural Cost Management.
In collaboration with ICMAI, IGNOU has launched a Diploma in Agricultural Cost Management (DACM).
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) School of Agriculture has collaborated with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) to introduce the Diploma in Agricultural Cost Management (DACM). The ICMAI has curated the course curriculum for the upcoming academic year to groom the students for the different roles available in the agriculture industry, including farm accounting and costing, agriculture supply chain management, and optimal utilisation of resources. The course also aims to boost Agripreneurship in India by equipping people with knowledge to make strategic decisions related to agricultural production, crop cultivation, financial planning, resource allocation, marketing, livestock rearing, and risk mitigation.
