CS Professional Exam To Be Held Under New Syllabus In June 2024, Check Switching Options.

For professional program students, the CS examination will be held under the new syllabus in June 2024.

The new syllabus for CS Professional programs will be effective from August 1, 2023, and the registration for the same will be initiated by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The CS examination will be held under the new syllabus in June 2024 for professional program students.

Students shall note that the candidates registered on or before July 31, 2023, will be assessed under the old syllabus 2017. Those who register after August 1, 2023, will be examined under the new syllabus 2022. All students who registered under the old syllabus 2017 can apply for switchover but will have to pay the pretest fee again under the new syllabus 2022.

The official website says, “The activation of switchover will be done on November 21, the institute said. The last attempt to appear under the syllabus 2017 syllabus is December 2024. Students who have taken registration under CS Professional new syllabus 2022 will have to complete a pre-exam test before enrolling for the CS Main examinations.”
