"Brave New World: How AI Will Revolutionise Education (and Why That's a Good Thing)" is a new book on AI education authored by the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, a non-profit educational organisation. Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, is well-known for his book recommendations. The book focuses on how rapidly advancing technology can raise global educational standards. saying that everyone ought to read it.

Bill Gates said on the social networking platform "X", "If you're passionate about education, you must read this book. Sal offers a compelling vision for harnessing AI to expand opportunity for all."

The book emphasises the ability of AI-powered systems such as ChatGPT to "revolutionise the way we learn and teach" by supporting overburdened teachers and adapting lessons accordingly. Previously, Bill Gates stated in a podcast with Sal Khan that AI tutoring might help "close the education gap," particularly for low-income pupils in developing countries.

"I think the AI will be like a great high school teacher who marks your essay, and you go back and think, OK, I need to step up there," Bill Gates said. 

He added, "If we think about the next ten years, [in terms of] both the absolute level of learning and the gap with lower-income, minority students ... These new tools can both close the gap and raise the overall level of achievement."
