There will be up to 122 NCC cadets attending the camp from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and northeastern regions, and 171 from the northeast. Participating in the camp as part of the youth exchange program will be cadets and officers from 25 different countries: Argentina, Botswana, Bhutan, Brazil, Czech Republic, Fiji, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Tajikistan, UK, Venezuela, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Nigeria, Mauritius, and Mozambique.

During his speech, Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, the director general of the NCC, urged the cadets to fully engage in all activities and reap the greatest possible advantages from them. He counseled them to put the nation's spirit first while eschewing religion and caste in favor of the purest forms of character, honesty, selfless service, camaraderie, and cooperation.

On January 28, the NCC Republic Day Camp's most prestigious event—the Prime Minister's rally—will be attended by the cadets. The PM is given a guard of honor by NCC Cadets before the PM's rally gets underway. Participating in the march past are contingents from every state NCC directorate. Tableaux represent the social activities that the NCC engages in.
