The University of Sheffield is providing a 'international postgraduate scholarship 2024' to overseas students who attend the university in September 2024 to study a taught master's programme. The scholarship is worth £2,000 for courses in the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences faculties and £2,500 for courses in the Engineering, Health, and Science faculties.
'Reconsider Research Projects, Engineering Education, And Industry Gaps,' According To The IIT Alumni Association
The Pan IIT Alumni of India, a group of IIT alumni, has asked the IITs and other premier institutions in the country to reimagine and rethink their research projects and engineering teaching, as well as to further bridge the gap between industry and academia through collaborations. Chairman of the society Debashish Bhattacharyya, speaking at the "PIWOT - World of Technology event today in Bengaluru, underlined that the 'weakest link' among the IITs has been the translation of research into practical output. He also believes that research should be made more available to industries in order to provide quantitative, visible results and to foster talks between researchers and industry.

Alert! IGNOU Admission 2024 Deadline Extended
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have another registration deadline. The revised deadline is 15th October 2024. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online programmes was 30th September 2024.
KEAM 3rd Round Counselling Final Allotment
The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2024 Round 3 seat allotment results were announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala on 6th of September 2024. DU NCWEB 3rd Round Admission Cutoff Released
The University of Delhi's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (DU NCWEB) has announced the third cutoff list for B.A and B.Com courses. Students who have submitted an application for admission to DU NCWEB in 2024 may access the third cut-off list by visiting the official website, ncweb.du.ac.in. Furthermore, the admission process has commenced. Additionally, students may consult the University of Delhi's official website, du.ac.in, to verify the cut-off list.

IIT Madras Launches 6-Month Internship Program for B.Tech Students in 2024-25
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has introduced an innovative six-month internship program for B.Tech students to increase their chances of securing pre-placement offers and providing valuable industry exposure. Starting in the 2024-25 academic year, students will have their sixth semester free of core courses, allowing them to pursue extended internships or other professional experiences. They can now complete elective courses in earlier or later semesters, providing unprecedented flexibility.
