IIT-Mandi 11th Convocation: Number Of Female Students Increased; 565 Degrees Distributed

The 11th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, was held on October 16. 60 PhD holders and 565 students were graduated during the ceremony. The chief guest was Ajit Kumar Mohanty, the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy.
"Completing graduation does not come easily," expressed Ajit Kumar Mohanty's congratulations to the students. Years of arduous labour and perseverance, hardships and sacrifices, triumphs and accomplishments, and maybe some setbacks are all part of it. As such, this day will undoubtedly rank among the most significant and unforgettable turning points in your life and professional journey.
There were 169 female students and 462 male students among the 565 total this year. The number of female students leaving the Institute in various courses has increased.
The number of female students leaving the Institute in various courses has increased. This year, more female students than ever before have graduated from IIT Mandi: 52 in the undergraduate course, 66 in the postgraduate and master's programmes, and 14 in the PhD programme.
