In order to promote a strong quality infrastructure in the area, the Quality Council of India (QCI) and Gujarat Technological University (GTU) work together to carry out training and capacity-building initiatives for the students, faculty, and related companies. The Training and Capacity Building (TCB) Cell of the QCI, an independent organisation established by the ministry of commerce and industry, will oversee the training sessions, workshops, and cooperative research and development projects. Gujarat Technological University operates in six zones, namely Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Rajkot, Surat, and Bhuj. It is a state university with 486 associated colleges.
According to QCI, through its accreditation boards, it is dedicated to helping Gujarati individuals in all spheres of life—from healthcare and education to business and MSMEs. "Our focus is to make quality an integral part of daily life for the people of Gujarat and its neighbouring region," stated QCI Secretary General Rajesh Maheshwari in reference to quality standards. All businesses, regardless of size, will benefit from QCI's quality-driven programmes and initiatives as they strive to attain excellence and establish their global presence.
