The PG Medical And Dental Admission Cutoff Reduced To Zero as per the latest annoucements.

On Wednesday, the Health Ministry instructed the National Medical Commission (NMC) to reduce the cutoff for qualifying percentiles for the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET)-Post Graduate (PG) 2023 to "zero". Aspirants of postgraduate medical education can edit their choices now that the percentile is reduced, a significant relief for postgraduate medical students this year. A letter from the Health Ministry stated that the recommendation for reducing the qualifying percentile for postgraduate courses for 2023 (NEET PG 2023) had been considered and that the competent authority has approved the reduction of the qualifying percentile to 'Zero' across all categories for NEET PG 2023.

Indian Medical Association also requested a reduction in the NEET PG cutoff mark for 2023 in a letter to the Health Ministry previously, saying that it would ensure that there would be no vacant postgraduate seats in medical colleges across the country as a result of a significant number of aspiring doctors enrolling in postgraduate programmes. In its letter to the Ministry, the Association requested a 30% reduction in the cutoff percentile for NEET PG 2023 for both clinical and non-clinical seats.
