The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) become set up because the first countrywide institute for Post-Graduate research and Research in Management through the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry. Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC)was approved by UGC and Ranked 26 For Overall By NIRF 2019. Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) courses are offered at various levels like Postgraduate Degree (i.e. MBA, Post Graduate Programme for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLM), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA), etc.), and Doctoral levels.
