Indian Agricultural Research Institute

The Indian Institute of Agricultural Research (IARI), generally referred to as Pusa Institute, is India's national institute for agricultural research, education, and extension. The name Pusa Institute is derived from the reality that the institute was at the beginning placed in Pusa Bihar as the Imperial Agricultural Research Institute in 1911. Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) was approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e Bachelor of Science Honours (B.Sc. Hons.) Microbiology, BCA, etc.), Postgraduate Degree (i.e M. Arch, MCA, M.Sc in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, etc.), and Doctoral levels.
