NEET PG 2024 Exam Rescheduled due to Lok Sabha polls.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) has been Preponed to June 23 by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

A meeting was held by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), the National Medical Commission with the Medical Counselling Committee, as well as the Directorate General for Health Sciences and the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences to make the decision. Originally scheduled for March 3, the exam was moved to July 7 after multiple applications were received from potential candidates.
 

The official notice quotes, “ In a meeting held by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), the National Medical Commission with Medical Counselling Committee, as well as the Directorate General for Health Sciences and the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences, the following timeline has been decided with regards to the conduct of NEET PG 2024.”
 

NEET PG 2024 revised schedule:

• NEET PG 2024 exam date: June 23, 2024.
• Declaration of NEET PG 2024 result: by July 15, 2024.
• NEET PG 2024 Counselling: August 5 to October 15, 2024.
• Start of the academic session: September 16, 2024.
• Last date of Joining: October 21, 2024.
