The Bihar government has instructed district magistrates to refrain from hiring teachers and staff members of the state education department to verify the documentation of applicants who took the "School Teacher Recruitment (2023)" exam.

The state's government-run schools now have a better academic environment thanks to actions taken by the education department to instil diligence in teachers and administrators. Teachers should therefore stay away from these activities.

The chief secretary continued, "Additionally, it is not appropriate to engage teachers for these tasks when the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination relates to the recruitment of teachers."

For around 1.7 lakh positions, the BPSC held the largest teacher recruitment examination in Bihar from August 24 to 26. Additionally, almost 8 lakh people showed up to take the test.

Beginning on September 5 and running through September 12, the candidates' documentation will be verified. Aadhaar, PAN, a driver's licence, caste certificate, residence verification, matriculation certificate, and other documents are on the list of things that candidates must bring with them for document verification.
