The Telangana government has announced the extension of a contract with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) to upskill 10,000 more college students by 2023-24. In the first year of their relationship in 2022, the Department of Industries and Commerce Telangana trained 10,196 students in the state. According to an official release, the project, also known as "Campus to Corporate," aims to upskill and prepare college students for careers in the business world.

While the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) focuses on creating batches of students, identifying locations for physical classroom sessions, and creating a calendar for these training sessions, the HCCB focuses on developing content, identifying trainers, conducting the Train the Trainers programme (TTT) to create and expand a pool of expert trainers, and conducting virtual and physical classroom sessions. Ch Malla Reddy, Telangana government's minister for labour and employment, factories, and skill development, commented on the significance of the agreement: “We endeavour to create a synergy among institutions of Government, Industry and Academia to provide a pool of trained graduates for suitable roles in different corporates and I am happy to say that TASK is actively leading the way in preparing quality human resources in our state.”

HCCB and the Government of Telangana will also work with manpower resourcing firms to strengthen the curriculums that will be offered at the Career Development Centres, allowing these companies to source personnel directly from the Career Development Centres. According to the official statement, the goal of this intervention is to increase the rate of placement of trained youngsters from Career Development Centres. The two parties will also collaborate to disseminate programmes and curriculums that give financial and digital literacy to population strata in the state that have yet to participate in such programmes.
