From 2024, Delhi University Will Offer A Ph.D. programme In Fine Arts

The PhD in Fine Arts programme will begin at Delhi University(DU) in the following academic year. Delhi University's Executive Council (EC) also approved a one-time age relaxation for voting in and participating in elections for student organisations. 

The application date for the DUSU elections 2023 is September 12, with a demand draught for INR 500 and an affidavit. You can view the nomination materials on the university's official website, du.ac.in. The Executive Council, the highest-ranking governing body of the university, met on August 25, 2023. The maximum age limit has been raised this year from 22 to 25 for undergraduate students and from 25 to 28 for postgraduate students, according to Delhi University (DU).

Qualifications for the PhD in Fine Arts at Delhi University in 2023
The establishment of PhD programmes in the fine arts for the academic year 2023–2024 was approved during the DU Faculty of Music and Fine Arts meeting. A new MBA (Business Analytics) curriculum is also being launched by the Department of Commerce, with 76 initial slots. 

A PhD student must receive a minimum of 55% of the potential points, nine credits, or its equivalent grade on the UGC 7-point scale in the course work to be eligible for the PhD programme and submit the dissertation or thesis. Four hours of teaching are required for each credit.

The Executive Council of Delhi University also approved the Value Addition Courses (VAC) Committee's proposals, and starting with the academic year 2022–2023, Vedic Mathematics–III, Vedic Vedic Mathematics–IV, and National Cadet Corps–III will be offered.
