The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)'s School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET) has announced the opening of the Bachelor of Arts in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (BAMSME) program. Candidates interested in this programme can apply through IGNOU's official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Applications for the July 2024 session are now available.
The BAMSME project is for students who have finished their 10+2 education. This project seeks to provide students with the information and skills necessary to start and run new businesses.
The BAMSME program, offered through open and distance learning (ODL), is designed to accommodate a diverse range of students. The curriculum is flexible, with a minimum duration of three years (six semesters) and a maximum duration of six years. Students will earn a total of 120 credits, with 20 credits awarded each semester. The language of instruction is English, and the program is priced at a fixed rate of Rs 5,100 per year.
