IIM Bodh Gaya secures 100% placement for MBA 2024 Batch

The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya) has completed its last placement session for the 2022-24 batch, with 100% placements this year. A total of 266 students participated in the procedure. According to IIM Bodh Gaya, more than 120 organisations from various sectors attended the institute.

While the average wage package decreased by 7% from the previous year, top performers were untouched. Notably, the top 25%, 50%, and 75% of graduates earned excellent average earnings of 18.2 LPA, 16.6 LPA, and 15.2 LPA, according to the institute.

The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector emerged as the frontrunner in placements, with leading institutions like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank extending offers to graduates. 

Consulting, IT, and analytics organisations followed closely, with Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, and PwC aggressively recruiting from IIM Bodh Gaya on an annual basis. 

This season also saw strong involvement from energy, manufacturing, FMCG, and e-commerce firms. Aside from MBA placements, IIM Bodh Gaya had a 100% placement record for its inaugural batches of MBA in Digital Business Management (DBM) and MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (HHM), as well as the conventional MBA (9th batch), during their summer internships. 

The DBM batch received a highly competitive average and median stipend of over Rs 1 lakh, with the highest reaching an astonishing Rs 2.6 lakh. Recruiters for these specialised programmes included industry leaders such as BNY Mellon, Kotak Mutual Fund, and PaySprint. 

Similarly, all MBA-HHM students were offered internships in prestigious healthcare organisations such as Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospital, and Manipal Hospitals, with the highest salary reaching Rs 2 lakh. The MBA ninth batch also included over 75 organisations, with an average stipend of Rs 75,000 and the highest at Rs 2 lakh. As many as 32 students in the ninth batch won stipends greater than Rs 1.5 lakh.
