IIM Executive MBA Program

BCU, the Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur), and industry partner Ronkel Media Education and Research Institute in Mumbai have collaborated to launch a new postgraduate module for Executive MBA students called Bridging Humanities and Innovation Management and Creative Entrepreneurial Leadership.

BCU's Associate Professor in Digital Transformation and Operations Management, Shishank Shishank, and Associate Professor Mrunal Chavda from IIM Raipur are leading the charge in this groundbreaking postgraduate module. Their expertise, combined with the guidance of Academic Director Swadhin Padhy from Ronkel, ensures a high-quality educational experience for the students. This module is made possible by a British Council research grant, further validating its academic merit.

The course aims to prepare Indian students for the global job market by providing them with the necessary abilities to handle the intricacies of worldwide industry management while cultivating an environment favourable to creativity and innovation.

This pioneering course, the first of its kind in India, is a testament to the strong partnership between our three institutions. This collaboration is focused on developing a work-ready workforce and generating high-quality research outputs for both business and academia, further enhancing our collective impact.

During a recent trip to Raipur, Dr Shishank, Deputy Head of College at the Graduate School of Management Professor Navjot Sandhu, and Senior Lecturer in Management Dr Sara Gracey I met with Professor Ram Kumar Kakani (Director, IIM Raipur) to strengthen ties and share a holistic and integrated approach to education.

"The partnership will aim to catalyse industry-academia partnerships that will allow academia and industry to work in sync, prepare a work-ready workforce, reduce on-the-job training costs, and make learners more employable. The module aims to build stronger, more inclusive, industry-connected Higher Education systems that support global development impacts." Associate Professor Shishank Shishank said.
