Partnership In Indian Automotive Innovation Between IIT Roorkee And ICAT

The government of India's Ministry of Heavy Industries seeks to support the development of the Indian automobile sector into a world leader. IIT Roorkee and the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) have teamed up to usher in a new era of innovation and excellence in the automotive industry under the direction of Union Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey.

This joint initiative intends to advance 6G technology and smart vehicle propulsion systems while creating India's first Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

With over 150 startups focused on generating real value rather than just focusing on valuation, IIT Roorkee has a flourishing and active innovation and incubation ecosystem.
