Najma Akhtar Of JMI Has Been Given The Lifetime Achievement Award In Academics

Professor Najma Akhtar, vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has received the "Lifetime Achievement Award-Academia." Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar (Padma Vibhushan), who hosted the grand conference and award celebration with the theme "Making India Employable," gave her the award.
A jury group of academics and business professionals chose Akhtar as the winner. According to the official statement, she was recognised for her "great efforts to link education to employment."
