Affordable touch-sensitive Braille learning device unveiled at IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur has developed a ground-breaking assistive technology that would revolutionise braille literacy for people who are blind or visually challenged. 

The 'Single Refreshable Braille Cell Based Braille Learning Device with a Touch Sensitive Array', created by Prof. Siddhartha Panda and Mr Vishwaraj Srivastava at the National Centre of Flexible Electronics (NCFlexE), IITK, is slated to have a big impact on the field of accessible education.

IIT Kanpur Director Prof. Abhay Karandikar stated, "Bridging gaps and creating chances for individuals who confront hurdles in accessing education has always been one of our key aims. This innovative braille learning tool is a huge step in the right direction. This idea aims to provide people with visual impairments with the skills they need to succeed in a world that is becoming more and more digital by offering an affordable and efficient learning tool.
